Great watch and is exactly what I expected from citizen. Quality finish at a very reasonable price and incredibly accurate. Excellent all round timepiece..

This has been an all round excellent exercise! Having toyed with the idea of going for the Seiko equivalent I eventually decided that apart from 'looks', it had to be accurate - something I knew from experience I would get from this final choice. I therefore ordered this watch, the Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster Diver with Black Rubber Strap from First Class Watches and from the outset everything went amazingly quickly and smoothly with me being kept posted of progress all the way down the line. Well, it arrived a few hours ago and I'm delighted - one very happy bunny!

It comes with the standard Citizen packaging and instructions but here is something I don't think I have ever come across before - 1stCW had taken the trouble to retrieve the guarantee booklet from the box and had stamped the document in the relevant section! That's good service.

The various online pics don't really do the watch proper justice, it has very clear markings, looks solidly business like and the controls operate with precision. Obviously time keeping accuracy is something that only time (sic) will reveal but if my experience with other Citizen watches and numerous published reports are anything to go by, that will not disappoint either.

I have read some criticism about the rubber strap - I think it suits the watch very well, it has a character about it, not a straightforward and bland band, it's certainly ok for me although I may change it at some future date. Others have said that it is uncomfortable to wear straight out of the box; with that I concur but the solution is very simple - but needs much care. First decide where curvature is required and then apply hot, off the boil water to those areas making sure that the water doesn't make contact with the case, then mould the strap to the desired shape, hold, then rapidly cool in cold water. Job done, you have curvature!

Truly impressive watch, price of same and as embedded in the company name - first class service; as the big man said "I'll be back"!

Was looking to treat myself after Xmas with a new watch, saw this so went for it. What can i say, no regrets getting it, very simple understated watch. Looks so good on the wrist, very simple nice watch not too big or heavy but you know it's there. Have no problem recommending this watch.

Background: I've had expensive high end dive watches in the past, but have been using a Smart watch for a while now. However, charging every evening can be a pain if you're on the move all the time and they're not the most rugged of watches. So I decided I needed a solid watch, rugged, preferably a divers watch, but I didn't want to spend £2k! I narrowed my choice down to two Citizen models and in the end went for the black faced Citizen Eco-Drive Promaster 200m (BN0150-28E).

I love it!!

It's a great weight. You know it's there but it's not too heavy. The case is 43mm so looks the part. The design is classic divers watch, hence I went for the black face. It keeps imacculate time and the luminosity is as good as watches that cost 20 times the price.

Talking of price, did I tell you that it only cost me £145? Yes, you read that correctly, £145. You cannot get a better watch for that money, certainly not one with the specification that I wanted.

Mine came with a rubber strap which I'll keep for diving. But I've bought a 007 strap for day to day and a nice stainless steel bracelet for dressing it up. A watch for all occasions and yes all for just £145. :)

I had been looking for an easy to read watch with no battery to replace an old Seiko automatic watch. I always liked the divers watch look and how easy they are to read night or day, so started looking for a Seiko Kinetic. I came across the Eco drive Divers and after reading a few reviews on them and seen photos, I really took a liking to the Promaster 200m, I decided to get the one with the black face as I prefer the retro look, also love the fact that the crown is at 4pm, this stop the crown digging in your wrist. The rubber strap is fine, but I wanted to give the watch more of a retro and classy look, so I have fitted a steel engineer bracelet. Love it. I had the watch for a week now and this keeping up with my phone, very accurate. I also love the blue-ish markers and hands at night. No battery to change ever, a great watch! First time I have used firstclasswatches, and I they have given me a first class service , could not quite price match another seller but got very close to it, so I went with them as they did inspire me confidence in our e-mail exchanges and read reviews .I had to take a couple of photos to show you, love it!

This promaster is a well built iso compliant 200m water resistant antimagnetic 4800A/m diver with superb finish.
Its 43mm diameter (excluding crown) 12mm thick brushed stainless steel case wears comfortably even on small wrists and fits under a shirt's sleeve with a NATO strap, the combo weighing just above 80 grams.
The 60 click unidirectional bezel is easy to operate with or without gloves.
With an efficient anti-reflective mineral glass it is extremely legible by day and night with excellent lume.
Its "set and forget" solar quartz movement shows great precision (less than +1 second in the first week).
All these features at such a reasonable price makes this fantastic good-looking rugged toolwatch a true bargain !
